Monday Night Football Bible Study
Men, are you ready for some football? All are invited to a Monday Night Football “1st and 10” Bible study. We will meet at 7:30 pm for Coach Tony Dungy’s men’s Bible study entitled, “Quiet Strength.”
Then kickoff is at 8:30 pm and you can watch the game as long as you are able to stay. The initial MNF “1st and 10” will be hosted by Steve Hitz on September 28th. The other dates will be October 5, October 26, November 9, November 23, and December 7. Men – young and old – come and let’s grow in our faith, enjoy some fellowship, and watch a little football. There is a sign-up sheet at the SIGN-UP CORNER in the narthex so we know how many are interested.

Attention All Women - Beth Moore is Coming to Midway !
Perhaps you are familiar with the name, “Beth Moore.” Known for presenting the Scripture in living color, Christian speaker and Bible study leader Beth Moore brings joy and excitement in Christ to life through words. She is passionate about women knowing and loving the Word of God. She is the author of 18 Bible studies and has a worldwide audience through her ministry, Living Proof Ministries, with the purpose of teaching women how to love and live on God’s Word.  We would like to start a Women’s Beth Moore Bible study group here at Midway this fall and are asking all women of the church to complete a short survey that will be in mailboxes soon to help us in our planning. Beth Moore studies typically are 12 weeks in length and require 1 ½ - 2 hours of group meeting time with five daily assignments (that take approximately 30 minutes to complete) to be completed between group meetings. At each group meeting, a one-hour DVD of Beth teaching is viewed and the other time is spent in discussion and fellowship. If you desire an intense, thought provoking study that is sure to spur you on to a deeper relationship with the Lord, please consider joining us and take a few moments to complete the survey. Hope to see you in the fall.  Note: The Beth Moore Bible study will NOT replace the Tuesday morning Women’s Bible study group. It will simply offer another option for studying God’s Word and growing in Him!
